Room 3603 (signed by William Stephenson)

Inscribed and signed by Sir William Stephenson (aka Little Bill or Intrepid) who is the best known spymaster in the history of the British Secret Service. Ian Fleming refers to Sir Stephenson: "...men of super-qualities can exist, and that such men can be super-spies and, by any standard, heroes. Such a man is 'the Quiet Canadian,' otherwise Sir William Stephenson." He also wrote: “James Bond is a highly romanticized version of a true spy. The real thing is … William Stephenson.”

This book is incscribed and signed on the front page:
"For our good friend John Hart - who should be no less interested in the events related herein because he directly participated in their unfolding. With greetings and all good wishes from. his old Chief. Wm Stephenson, Bermuda Dec, 1965."

The book is in good condition. It has wear along cover edges, and stains along cloth on spine. The dust jacket is in fair condition. It wear, tears and stains. Please see photos for signature and condition.
