Farrar, Straus and Giroux First Edition 1970. Hardcover book and dust jacket in very good condition. Binding is square and tight. Pages are clean with no writing or highlights. Book cover has wear and bumps along edges and spine. Side edge of back cover has a 1/2-inch knick as does the same location on the dust jacket (see photos). Dust jacket has tanning, wear and slight tears along edges and spine.
Klingsor's Last Summer tells the story of a famous painter named Klingsor as he experiences a final burst of creativity in his last summer of life. He grabs the cup of life with both hands and drinks until he simply cannot take any more.
